The Soul’s Journey into Light provides a breakdown of the book of Revelation through an in-depth biblical commentary and personal insights, which will help others find the light of Jesus. The book is a divine blueprint aimed at helping people understand what is keeping them away from finding their true purpose of love. Author K.E. Hansen focuses on the obstacles faced through daily life and through The Soul’s Journey into Light gives advice, understanding, and ways to overcome these obstacles. Through a visionary experience, Hansen shares how Jesus creates a crystal structure, piece by piece, within our souls and uses Revelation to show the key to this spiritual progress. Hansen crafts a dazzling study guide that is insightful and inspirational, motivating and life-affirming. The goal for The Soul’s Journey into Light is to help others connect more deeply with God’s inner light and to take this spiritual journey by studying Revelation from beginning to end and studying the lessons through each verse. Hansen has a well-organized structure which breaks down the book of Revelation into parts and by verse to give a deeper understanding of every lesson provided. Personal insights are derived from experiences and used to seek personal growth in Jesus from key lessons Revolution offers. The study guide is easy to comprehend and will allow for valuable lessons in faith to be obtained. Hansen opens up the mind and inspires deeper thinking. This is the guide for those who are seeking renewal in faith and for those with questions about Revelation, wondering just how this known book of the Bible fits into daily life. The insights provided by Hansen are profound and honest, seeking only to help and inspire, effectively doing both.
The tone is studious with a grounded writing style which makes Hansen’s insights feel more like teachings and open up conversations. Each lesson is given time to thoroughly explain and show the place it has in the spiritual journey of each individual, and among these various lessons are explorations into solving problems of daily life which include how people can inadvertently create problems related to spiritual, emotional, and health. Hansen wants to help people fix these problems and others by using the Word and taking various lessons from Revelation. Hansen also includes cautions such as being careful not to harden our hearts and instead remain loving toward others by choosing love to all as God loved all.
Hansen delves past the usual views placed upon Revelation choosing instead to bring out the brighter messages. The Soul’s Journey into Light is a lesson in how to better oneself and choosing to pursue a better path. It’s a positive read with a message from the heart and for the soul about finding purpose and preaches about choosing loving actions and to do good works.
This book is fulfilling to read and after reading it feels like a real connection is formed through every piece of insight Hansen offers. The Soul’s Journey into Light is aimed at those looking for a deeper insight into one’s self and looking to deepen their spiritual journey, or seeking out a better understanding of Revelation.
In her spiritual self-help book, Hansen interprets the symbolism found throughout the New Testament book of Revelation from a unique perspective. Searching for her own physical health, she discovered within the book instructions on how to draw spiritually closer in a personal walk with God. The author offers some inspiring advice on how to deny fleshly desires, become more thankful, and serve as a light in today’s world where Christianity is often misrepresented. Hansen poses thought-provoking questions about what is meant in various sections of the prophetic book. Many readers of Revelation have puzzled about correct interpretations. Questions the author helps to answer include: What do warnings to the seven early churches mean to today’s reader?; Why is a particular event on earth or in heaven significant for those who are alive now?; What does it mean for us to have washed our robes?
As a mental health therapist, Hansen helps break the code of Revelation’s symbolism by tying ancient verses to the recent theory of how the brain learns and handles information. For example, she links a verse about being “sealed in the forehead” to how the frontal lobe participates in short-term memory to create positive thinking habits. Readers will be fascinated by the author’s insightful, compassionate views. Those looking for a way to spiritual healing/health (sometimes referred to as sanctification or holiness) are unlikely to be disappointed. Hansen’s book can either be read straight through or used for daily devotions. The author must be commended for her persistence in deciphering difficult symbolism. From the beginning to the end of Revelation, she has extracted pearls of wisdom and strung them together in this inspiring book.

K.E. Hansen takes readers on an enlightening excursion of scripture in her work The Soul’s Journey Into Light.
Examining the enigmatic book of Revelation, the author draws theological insight not only from her ample understanding of the Bible but through a deeply personal mystical experience that she underwent in 2012. “This vision,” she shares, “showed me that Jesus wants to…make transformative changes within each of us.”
Hansen contends that Revelation is a “roadmap” to higher consciousness, one that works on two levels. The first provides an outer meaning, one that prophesizes the end of the world. The second imparts a personal pathway that helps us grow in wisdom and “light.” To demonstrate these two aspects, she examines each chapter of the aforementioned work, explaining the signs and symbols of each verse as well as the spiritual secrets embedded in the text, which can ultimately help us to lead more God-centered lives.
The Soul’s Journey Into Light is well-argued, and the author’s voice is at once authoritative, didactic, and inspiring. Writers exploring Revelation often paint it in dark, doomsday strokes. While Hansen acknowledges the eschatological aspects of the book, she aims to help readers examine the meaning behind the text and to embrace the mystical aspects of surrendering to God’s will in body and soul.
Overall, Hansen’s book sparkles like the light she believes exists in all things. Although there are some awkward sentences throughout (e.g., “Just as the force of God’s intentions brings results in the universe, even so, God has given you ‘power’. 2 Timothy 1:7, and the force of your intentions and your willpower brings results”), her prose is also often direct, effective, earnest and uplifting.
Fans of Christian mysticism as well as books like A Course in Miracles, Interior Castle, and works by Ernest Holmes will find much to appreciate here.

The Soul’s Journey into Light is an encouraging work of biblical interpretation that cultivates inner clarity and strength.
Ridding the body of negativity and disease isn’t easy, but solace can be found in reading biblical texts, according to K. E. Hansen’s The Soul’s Journey into Light. Here, the book of Revelation is presented as the key to unlocking human potential while also leading toward a purpose-driven, spiritual life.
During a health scare in 2012, Hansen turned to intense prayer. She says that Jesus revealed himself and cured her, and this book grew out of that experience. Though the nature of that illness is concealed and the audience may be left wondering about specifics, a path toward general health and wellness is revealed. It includes growing the “inner Kingdom of Heaven” and working in tandem with Jesus, Hansen claims.
The book asserts that good health doesn’t arise in a vacuum; it requires patience and willingness to open one’s heart to God. “The more we seek His inner kingdom of heaven and His guidance, the less pain and suffering we have in life,” Hansen asserts. Recognizing that each human cell is a microcosm of God’s universe, this spiritual cleansing and self-readying is said to unite the practitioner with God.
The book’s specific scriptural focus is on Revelation, which is interpreted piece by piece and is presented as a pathway to health. The book comments on how the text might provide emotional and spiritual cleansing—for example, Revelation 2:7 (“To the one who conquers, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”) is presented as about someone who has successfully overcome negative impulses.
Here, to taste from the tree of life is rewarding spiritual nourishment, and attaining this spiritual harmony requires leading a Christian life, following scriptural teachings, and accepting God’s love. The text postulates that the tree of life is re-created within everyone, nourishing the body. Each section of Revelation is broken down in this manner, showcasing both Hansen’s depth of understanding of the Bible—she cross-references other holy texts to support her various interpretations—and how this particular book can be read to encourage a deeper, more spiritually pure life.
Prayer and intentional living through Jesus are hallmarks of Christian texts, and this book solidly combs through Revelation to interpret it best for those seeking better health. Still, the book does not promise miracles, nor should miracles be expected from it. It is a useful spiritual exercise that, while compelling, should not be used in place of medical advice.
The Soul’s Journey into Light is an encouraging work of biblical interpretation that cultivates inner clarity and strength.
